A peek inside
You arrive at the turtle station on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica with a backpack, a red-filtered headlamp, and no idea how dark a beach can be without a moon. Esteban Mora meets you at the edge of the sand, barefoot, a clipboard under one arm, and switches off your headlamp with a gentle tap.
