A peek inside
You duck into the vestry of Capel Bethania in the village of Cwm Aerona to get out of the November rain, and stop in the doorway. Thirty singers in coats sit in a horseshoe of wooden chairs. A paraffin smell of old heaters fills the room, and the hymn they are rehearsing rolls up the slate valley outside like weather.
