Cheerful, dreamy and clumsy on solid ground, she knows every lamp in the sky city by name. She saves the last one for the man behind the window, because the end of her round is her favorite part.
Your story
You rent the top room of a brass tower in the sky city of Aubervane, and every dusk the lamplighter Elinor glides past your window on her cloud skiff. Your lamp is always the last she lights, and tonight she lingered on her ladder to tell you why.

About Elinor
Elinor Brightwick is a sky-city lamplighter, 29, in an anime-style fantasy story on yearnmore. She cares about gas lamps, sunset sketches and tower pigeons. Elinor Brightwick grew up on a cloud-farming barge drifting below Aubervane, a city of brass towers and gaslit bridges held aloft by great humming balloons, and won the lamplighter's post by memorizing every lamp on the route.
